the top 5 children's shows that freaked me out when I was a child...

...or more like: the top 5 children's shows that I watched when I was little and really freak me out when I watch them again

5. The Brave Little Toaster: Cutting Edge
I mean really, how was I not afraid of the computer after this?

4. Muppets Take Manhattan: Miss Piggy and Joan Rivers
I mean, they both are scary enough individually...

3. HR Puff n Stuff
The crazy thing is that my mom watched this when she was little and still let my sister and I watch it...yikes

2. Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure
I'm not sure what part of this movie didn't freak me out...but def. this part...start at 9:00...

1. Donald Duck and the Gorilla
Never again could I look out my window at night and not expect lightening to flash and there to be a gorilla looking back at me on the other side...never again

Honestly, the best part about looking through all of these is remembering watching them, no matter how strange, with my sister. Maybe I should have made it the top 30...but these are the clips that will randomly come to mind and make me think, "I need to look that up on You Tube to send to Amy."

True story.

I am so grateful that I had my sister to grow up with, and that she also enjoys looking back and laughing at what we did (and liked)...so grateful. I love you, Sissy!

Much love,
Emily Elizabeth

p.s. won't you please share with me the videos of your childhood that left an impression on your youth

  1. honorable mentions:

The "Trouble with Trible" episode of Star Treck

and whatever that cartoon about the rainforest being destroyed that wasn't Fern Gullie...
